Prima
The fusilli with basil and pine nut pesto = good. The filet mignon = very good. Desserts were a reminder that not every course needs to be finished.
On the IRCThe tiramisu arrived, did what it could, and then sat there being heavy, claggy and somehow unpleasantly salty on top of it. Mostly useful for confirming you should stop eating.
The case for
- The pasta was good, which is reassuring in an Italian restaurant
- The fillet mignon was very good, which is what it charged you to be
The case against
- Both desserts - Hazelnut Passion Fruit and IRC - were absolutely not worth the calories
