A separate standing. Rated independently. Scored on cream doing what cream should do, coffee that actually made contact with the sponge, savoiardi that didn't dissolve into regret, and cocoa used with intention rather than enthusiasm.
Because the dessert is too important to be a footnote. And because Mark is never going to live this down.

The mascarpone cream made “just a few bites” an unrealistic plan. A little dark on the chocolate, a little too generous with the booze.

This was a mass of thick cream, on top of disintegrating gluten free ladyfingers, with pistachios on top served in a metal goblet... Not terrible. Also not what we call "IRC." Just go for the entrees.

The tiramisu arrived, did what it could, and then sat there being heavy, claggy and somehow unpleasantly salty on top of it. Mostly useful for confirming you should stop eating.
